Profa. Dtra. Eliane Moura da Silva (UNICAMP)

Eliane Moura da Silva is full professor in the Department of History at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where she currently researches and advises. Her areas of expertise are modern and contemporary history - American and Brazilian, history of religions, cultural history of religions, gender and religion, missionary history, history theories and historiography. She holds a PhD in History, a master's in History and a bachelor's degree in History from UNICAMP.

Profa. Dtrnda. Júlia Rany Campos Uzun (UNICAMP)

Ms. Uzun is a Ph. D student in Cultural History at University of Campinas (Unicamp) and founding member of the Center of Studies for Cultural History of Religions (CEHIR). Her current research interests are: Cultural History of Religions, Gender, Education and History of Republican Brazil. She currently holds a scholarship at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CPNq). Her teaching experience includes theoretical subjects ("Cultural History" lectured in 2017), pedagogic subjects ("Practices and Strategies for the Teaching of History") and specific ones (History of America III); all lectured during her Ph. D. internship program at Unicamp. She has produced didactic materials for higher education institutions and has vast experience as a teacher for the Elementary and High School levels. She has developed a research about the Gospel Culture in the United States in the Deep South Region. She earned a master degree in Cultural History (2013) from Unicamp with an interchange period as a researcher at the Mexican College of Toluca. She also earned her licentiate (2006) and Bachelor degree from Unicamp. Her fields of experience are: Contemporary History, History of Education, History of Latin America, History of Independent México, Memory and the Usage of Imagery.

Prof. Dr. Guilherme Amaral Luz (UFU)

Guilherme Amaral Luz is assistant professor in the Institute of History at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). He has worked on practices and rhetorical institutions in Portuguese America and Catholic Europe between the 16th and the 18th centuries, focusing on poetic and artistic artifacts related to Counter-Reformation's (religious) worldview. Luz currently works on projects for the conservation of the holy cultural heritage, and studies concerning the cultural relationship between Europe and China in the 17th century regarding ethics and religion. Mr. Luz was a postdoctoral fellow in the History of Art Department at University of Warwick (Coventry, UK). He holds a PhD and a master's in Cultural History from University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He also earned a bachelor's degree in History from UNICAMP.

Profa. Dtra. Margarida Fátima Souza Ribeiro (UMESP)

Ms. Ribeiro is Methodist preacher. She holds a PhD and a Master's in Religious Studies from Methodist University of São Paulo (UMESP). She earned a bachelor degree in Theology by University of Teology from Methodist Church (1989) and her licentiate in Philoshopy bu Unijuí (1995). She focus her studies and teaching experiente in: Ecumenism, Theological Antropology and Women History (historiography). She coordinates the Otília Chaves Center, Andean Sun Program (Solidarity within Andean America) and the Extension Program from Theology University.

Prof. Dr. Rui Luis Rodrigues (UNICAMP)

Rui Luis Rodrigues is assistant professor in the Department of History at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), where he lectures Modern History. Mr. Rodrigues holds a PhD in Social History from University of São Paulo (USP). His PhD research focused on the appropriations of Erasmus' humanism in the discussions between 'orthodoxy' and 'heterodoxy' during the Religious Reformations of the 16th century. Rodrigues currently works on the diffusion of apocalyptic imaginary in European societies during the first modernity. He aims to evaluate the impacts of such imaginaries on languages and political practices.

Prof. Dtrndo. Sergio William de Castro Oliveira Filho (UNICAMP/ Marinha do Brasil) 

Oliveira is a PhD. student in Cultural History at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He holds a master's in Social History from Federal University from Ceará (UFC). He earned a bachelor degree in History from Ceará University (UECE). Actually, he is a researcher of the History Department from Historical Heritage and Documentation Board from Brazilian Navy (DPHDM). His areas of research interest are protestanism history and eighteenth Brazil.

Prof. Mtrndo. Júlio Cesar de Melo do Nascimento (UNICAMP)

Nascimento is a master student in Cultural History at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He earned a bachelor's degree in Language (Portuguese and Japanese) and a licentiate in Portuguese from São Paulo University. He was a instructor at the Japanese language course from the Center of Languages from Philosopy, Language and Humanas Sciences Department from USP. He realized an interchange at the Aichi Prefectural University, in Japan, from 2013 to 2014. His areas of research interest are Chinese Buddhist thought and its influence in Japanese schools on sixth century.  Actually, he investigates about the Buddhist institutionalisation in Japan's Meiji (1868-1912) and its doctrinaire formulation.

Prof. Mtrndo. Plínio Felipe Amaral Pires (UNICAMP)

Mr. Pires is a Master student in Cultural History at University of Campinas (Unicamp). He currently participates of the Master internship program at the same university under guidance of Professor Leandro Karnal, Ph. D. He also earned his licentiate/bachelor degree from the same university with an interchange period as a student at the National Autonomous University of México (UNAM), as a researcher at the Archivo General de la Nación (México D.F.) and a guest speaker at the Brazilian Embassy (2014). Undergraduate experience: he also taught in public and private institutions, participated in the Program of Faculty Assistance (PAD) for the subject of Modern History II under guidance of Professor Rui Rodriguez Luis, Ph. D, earned a scholarship from the Institutional Program of Scholarship for the Initiation of Teaching Practices (PIBID-CAPES) under guidance of Professor Rene José Trentin Sillveira, Ph.D and worked in the translations of academic project and profiles to the English and Spanish languages. His current fields of interests are: Inquisition in Portuguese and Spanish territories, History of Reading (16th Century), New-Christians, Iberian History (16th century) and History of the Sephardim Diaspora.

Prof. Dr. Carlos André Silva de Moura (UPE/UNICAMP)

Carlos André Silva Moura is assistant professor in the Department of History at the University of Pernambuco (UPE) and post-doctoral researcher for the Department of History at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He is also director of the History of Religions Studies Lab (LEHR - UPE). His areas of expertise are history of religions, Catholic Church, contemporary history, Republican Portugal, Republican Brazil. Moura is currently interested on the Catholic Church in the 20th century, Portuguese and Brazilian scholars during Catholic Restoration, Marian apparitions on the Portuguese-Brazilian world, the relations between Brazil and Portugal at the beginning of the 20th century, and History teaching. He holds a PhD in Cultural History from UNICAMP, and a master's in Social History from Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), where he also earned a bachelor's degree in History. During his doctoral studies, Moura was a visiting scholar in the Institute of Social Sciences at the University of Lisbon (ICS-UL).

Profa. Dtrnda. Sara Cristina de Souza (UNICAMP)

Ms. de Souza is a Ph.D. student in Cultural History at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP) under supervision of Professor Eliane Moura da Silva, Ph. D. She also earned her bachelor and master degrees from the same university. Currently she investigates the representations of Islam on the American Christian press during the Islamic Revolution (1979). Her master degree investigation was concerned with groups of laymen in the Brazilian Catholic Church during the Military Dictatorship (1964-1985), focusing on the Cursillos. Her fields of interests are: History of Religions, Contemporary History, History of the Press, History of United States, Islam, and Christianity. Her teaching experience includes theoretical courses ("Theoretical History" for undergraduate students and "Introductions of History" for students of the PROFIS Program - UNICAMP) and specific ones (Contemporary History II), all lectured during her Ph. D. internship program at UNICAMP. She currently holds a scholarship at the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CPNq). In 2015, she was awarded a scholarship in the Program of Interuniversity Exchange Doctorate (PSDE) by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES) to study at the University of Colorado, Boulder, at the Center for Media, Religion, and Culture, under supervision of Professor Stewart M. Hoover, Ph. D.

Prof. Dr. Gustavo de Souza Oliveira (UEMG)

Gustavo de Souza Oliveira is lecturer at the Minas Gerais State University (UEMG), Carangola campus. His areas of expertise are Brazilian history, Portuguese history, and cultural history of religions. Oliveira holds a PhD and a Master's in Cultural History from University of Campinas (UNICAMP). He earned a bachelor's degree in History from Federal University of Viçosa (UFV). He also worked as a lecturer at UFV.

Prof. Dr. Leonildo Silveira Campos (Mackenzie)

Leonildo Silveira Campos is professor and researcher in the Sciences of Religion Graduate Program at Mackenzie Presbyterian University (Mackenzie), São Paulo, Brazil. His areas of expertise are social sciences and religion, especially sociology and anthropology of religion. His main interests are interdisciplinary studies in the religious field, Protestantism, Pentecostalism, religious communication, politics and religion, and new religious movements. Mr. Campos holds a PhD in Sciences of Religion and a master's in Administration from Methodist University of São Paulo (Universidade Metodista de São Paulo). He earned two bachelor's degree, in Philosophy (from Faculdade de Filosofia, Ciências e Letras de Mogi das Cruzes) and in Theology (from Faculdade de Teologia da Igreja Presbiteriana Independente do Brasil).

Prof. Dr. Paulo Julião da Silva (UFPE)

Paulo Julião da Silva is lecturer in the School of Education at the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE) and at the Faculdade Europeia de Administração e Marketing. He is also a History and Geography teacher at Monsenhor Arruda Câmara Elementary and High School in Pernambuco. He currently teaches the following courses: History of Education in Brazil, Fundamentals in Education, Philosophy of Education, Brazilian Educational System, Educational Public Policy Management, Academic Research and Writing, Contemporary World, and Professional Ethics. Silva holds a PhD in Cultural History from University of Campinas (UNICAMP), a master's in Social History from Federal Rural University of Pernambuco (UFRPE), where he also earned a diploma on Religion and Art History Teaching. He earned a bachelor's degree in History from Fundação de Ensino Superior de Olinda (FUNESO). During his doctoral studies, Silva was a visiting scholar at the University of Texas at Austin, supported by São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).

Prof. Dtrndo. Harley Abrantes Moreira (UPE/UNICAMP)

Harley Abrantes Moreira is a Ph.D. student in History at University of Campinas (UNICAMP) and an assistant professor in the Department of History at University of Pernambuco (UPE). He holds a master's degree in Cultural History of Spaces from Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), where he was a fellow of the research group Culture, Power, and Space Representations. Moreira earned a bachelor's degree in History from Federal University of Ceará (UFC). He is also a fellow of History and Memory and Religions and paths of missionary experiences in Africa: archives, collections, and researches, research groups. He is currently on sabbatical leave to complete his Ph.D. studies at UNICAMP, and his research theme is "Portuguese Baptist Missions on Mozambique: Between Alterity and Cultural Colonialism (1964-1992)".

Prof. Dtrndo. Tiago Pires (UNICAMP)

I am a Ph.D. candidate in History at University of Campinas (UNICAMP). I hold a master's degree in Cultural History from UNICAMP (2012-2014) and a master's degree in Sociology from Roma Tre University, La Sapienza and Tor Vergata's inter-institutional program. I also earned a bachelor's degree in History (2007-2012) from Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP). During my master studies, I was a visiting researcher at University of Udine (2014), Italy, under the guidance of Professor Nicola Gasbarro, Ph.D; and during my Ph.D. studies I was a visiting researcher at Roma Tre University (2017-2018), under the guidance of Professor Verónica Roldán, Ph.D. My current areas of research interest are history and anthropology of religions, religious narrativities and discursivities, exorcism and possession, ethnopsychiatry and contemporary history.
